Wellness or illness ?
This question is for all of us. By and large our
answer is wellness. But do we really know what is wellness and what is illness?
Today I am going to derive from my expertise and experience, the gist of wellness and ways to achieve this bodily state of wellness throughout.
Let’s try to understand what is wellness and how naturally our body thrives to get it.
The best word which can describe the spontaneous proves of keeping ourselves well can be termed as Metabolism. So first let’s understand what is metabolism.
What is metabolism?

“Metabolism is a term that is used to describe all chemical reactions involved in maintaining the living state of the cells and the organism. Metabolism can be conveniently divided into two categories”
Now in order to keep ourselves alive our body, at the background , without even our knowledge does the wonderful job of keeping is alive. To do so our body need certain things as fuel, to keep the engine working all the time.
The way any engine needs main fuel and some lubricants to function well, same way our body needs some things. All such things which our body needs can be labels as Nutrition.
Nutrition means intake of nutrients to derive energy(fuel) to keep us alive. The main source of energy is carbohydrates. Our body also needs proteins, fats, minerals and vitamins. Collectively all things are called as nutrients or nutrition.
Each ingredient from nutrition has its role defined in well-functioning of body. Everything is equally important. If there is some imbalance, then we start our journey from wellness to illness.
To avoid illness, we must have our metabolism in place.
What is wellness?
People, who have already started their journey to illness, who are already victim of unhealthy eating patterns, who have badly affected not only their health but also their life motives are the ones who need any method or some corrective action plan to come back to the state of wellness.
There are many ways proposed in illness industry to achieve wellness by losing weight. Though they seem different ways, they are ultimately processes to regain control of our bodies metabolism. We don’t need to improve metabolism at all. And we can never be able to improve it. People, who say that they will help you improve your metabolism, are actually playing with your emotions. Basically our target should be to repair our metabolism. Our target should be to correct or metabolism. And once corrected, our task should be to keep it in that correct state always.
